Teej brings along pleasure & happy moments when young leaves sprout, Koel sings and kids enjoy swings. Some part of it was visualized today in the premises of Bhartiya Vidya Mandir Kitchlu Nagar Ludhiana, as there were giggles, laughs & complete aroma of typical Teej Festival.
Sky touching fun was felt in manifold recreational activities. Students of middle wing also showcased their melodious voices in Punjabi Flolk song competition with a perfect blend of rhythm and feel. Beauty and majestic designs of Heena applied on hands by all girls (students) became the cynosure of all eyes.
All the students enjoyed sweet delicacies Kheer-Purre to celebrate the sweetness of Teej. The day got wrapped into the joy of Punjabi Folk dance & Songs like Kala Doriya, charkha chanan da, Lathe Di Chadar, Kala Sha Kala etc. sung by the students of Primary & Higher wings as sky touching jubilance reverberated the real sense of the day.
Realizing the vision of the future utopia, take firm steps for keeping Punjab’s ‘Harit Kranti’ alive in every sphere of development and also shoulder the responsibility of safeguarding Punjabi Culture- said Principal Mrs. Neelam Mittar to the students.
